Harvest 3-16-2013

Temps are supposed to dip back down now in our cold climate- we've had nice weather for a few days. It's always a shock to me when I have these to harvest here. Some think you have to have an elaborate set up and high electric bills- not so. I've been harvesting since the end of Jan. I got a late start last year otherwise there would have been some harvests all throughout from Nov. on when I planted things out there.

Soon I'll do a post of just what's out there allowing me these wonderful winter salads so you can see how non-sophisticated I keep things. Any time I even think of adding this gadget or that heat source, etc. I remind myself to keep it simple, stupid! I need an easy button around sometimes. I remind myself that anything I add  will be something else to maintain, fix if it breaks, or replace- no thanks!
